Front wheel won't sit centrally on my old mountain bike

Hi all,
I ride a rigid frame mountain bike which has been my faithful steed for some time (well about 12+ years!). I've recently taken up riding again and noticed the other day that the front wheel when looking down on it when seated seems to be leaning over to the left. I've taken the wheel off and tried to centre correctly but there isn't a lot of adjustment on the fork as the nut sits in a formed recess. pics as follows:
You can find some pics of the problem here:

Any help gratefully received. It must be putting added pressure on the bearing or something as well as slightly slowing me as the wheel must be running slightly on the left edge rather that then centre.
Cheers

wheel needs dishing, take it to a good bike shop."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Wheel won't centre? Assuming dropouts/axles look clean:
If the narrow gap switches sides when you turn the wheel around (ie mount with the tread facing the other way) then the wheel needs re-dishing. However if the narrow gap stays on the same side regardless of how you mount the wheel, or even with another wheel, then the fork or dropouts are bent. You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.0
