NICE! Am wanting a harcore-hardtail for myself at the moment. And you're not helping!

But great build! Well done! 8)

    Thanks :)

It's actually an off the shelf bike not a custom build. Its last years Voodoo D-Jab from halfords (so it was at a great price).

this looks great with the skinwalls :)

I think voodoo gets overlooked these days as its supplied by halfords, great bikes though and id love one of those ti frames

I had a voodoo years back (blue alu frame, with original orange bomber z1s on) was a great ride
  • Thanks it is slighty influenced by the Charge Blender Ti Tango, which I love. When I saw it I wanted skinwalls, but only just got some and the brown saddle finishes it off.

Really well, It is such a good all rounder, I feel like it can tackle anything with the long fork. The other day I did some XC through my local woods to my local Free ride type track with steep technical bits and berms and small smooth jumps, then moved on to my local BMX track. Although I wasn't really jumping at the BMX track, more manulling and pumping but it is just a fun do anything (as long as its not too hard core).

Very nice looking bike, was considering a pair of skinwall tyres for my own HT. What brand are you using, dont seem to be many available..

They are some retro Duro tyres, very cheap because I had the same problem trying to find any new skin wall tyres. However you can get them from here:

    Front: http://www.oybcycles.com/gbu0-prodshow/TYRE21112.html

    Rear: http://www.oybcycles.com/index.php?app= ... 9w8a8yq1ox

I have now replaced them for some conti's as them didn't grip as well as modern tyres.

The frame is designed to take a 100mm - 130mm fork, the head angle is 68.8 degres, thats not that bad. Just looks stepping in the pictures...

Been away at Uni and didn't take it with me, however I'm moving to Portsmouth next mouth and will probably take it with me, so it will see more use soon. :D

Now I'm back in Bristol though its getting dirty again, just keep lurking on the forum trying to get up to date with everything I have missed in 2 years.
