I must be bonkers !
My Mountain bike is in the shop getting a big service and forks rebuilt and i was dying to get out on a bike, so Me and the hubby went singletrack bashing today, him on his GT and me......On my road bike with full skinny slicks !!!!!...OMG it was great fun, sliding in mud at the drop of a hat and bouncing off roots and stones.....my bum and arms are going to feel it tomorrow :lol:

    Check the wheels shape. :lol:

    I do stuff like that for a laugh, putting on slicks and finding a steep technical hill that you've no chance of navigating with big mud tyres, tis funny as fook. :lol:

    Riding with slicks can be real fun, though when I realized that whilst out on the ribble road bike, I had been tempted off road, twas not good :lol:

    Carbon road forks arent made for the big hits :roll:

    Yep, totally bonkers.

    Did about 15 yards off road on my road bike on Friday to bypass some roadworks, that'll do me thank you :lol:
    It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.

    I've bought a new bike....ouch - result

    My bum is now starting to protest! ...the shoulders are a little tender..............but I don't care ! It was mucho fun :D

    haha my road bike took me off road yesterday in the p*****g rain the brakes were so covered in mud then didnt work the wheels were brown gears didnt work and weighted about twise as much as usual
