Looks like two spokes have ripped themselves of the hope xc hub thus totally mullering it, anyone else managed this, was it on a rocky descent by any chance?

On the flip side i can throw on the cheap wheels i got with the anthem and get me some industry nine's come end of the year, trouble is i'll be a bit slower now.
The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.

Just think of the luuuuurvely Industry 9's though!

What colour you wanting? And please, please PLEASE get coloured spokes too! If you are getting some I9's, it's the rules that you get funky coloured spokes too!!!

Lol well i was thinking white rims black hubs and spokes, should go well with the bike. ;)

Bit of a pita though, i did have a cracking ride though, guess i have to drop more pounds to compensate for a cheap wheelset now.

Nah no point they're close to 5 years old, hope as a gesture might offer me a new wheel at cost but i was intending on getting a new wheelset end of the year anyway as they were knocking on.

Least i now know my instinct that they needed replacing wasn't far off. ;)

Umm well i cycled and it was kinda rocky.

Had a cracking ride though, didn't hardly stop for four hours bar the odd stop here and there.

Pita though wished it had happened closer to christmas, never mind eh.

Wasn't cracked beforehand i would have noticed otherwise, aah actually i was in a wooded area and heard something crack when going downhill so it probably happened then.

Thanks to the folks that said send it back, just been in touch with hope and after explaining what went on they said send the hub back with the claim sheet they have on their site and all being well and good i may get me a pro 2 hub.
