Should I use bolt on tri/aero bars on carbon drops?

I have FSA K-Force carbon compact drops and it says on the FSA website that its OK to use aero bars. My LBS strongly warned against it. I'm not sure what to do. Is anyone using aero bars on carbon drops? I only want them to do the occasional TT so they aren't a permanent fixture.

I wouldn't unless the drops are specifically reinforced to take clip-ons (which they may be if it says they're fine to use on the web-site). IME it takes a fair bit of clamping force to secure clip-ons, more then the 5-6nm you would typically clamp to on carbon. I'd def use carbon paste if doing it, should help it grip better at low torque.
