3rd at the giro, and then...



55 Franco Pellizotti (Ita) Liquigas 0:15:23 on GC after stage 8 of the tdf...

anyone know the story behind this? crash?

    I didn't see him involved in any crash. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think he's on the Liquigas team as a domestique for the Tour, so maybe he just worked hard for his leaders and then had to cross the line with the autobus, saving himself for another day.

    well i know kreuziger is good, but i cant believe he is team leader over franco? :shock:

    Nibali is actually the highest on GC so maybe he is the leader? Maybe Liquigas have a plan for tomorrow and need Pellizotti to be as strong as possible. Was intrigued to see Bruseghin finish in the autobus with Cavendish. Is he injured or is he going for the stage tomorrow?

    Bruseghin has crashed a few times. Once on the way into Barcelona, and I think in the TTT too.
