Hi all

Ive been given an old Rhode Bicycle Rack (Mounts on Boot of car) by a family member, I need it tomorrow but have noticed it only has straps for the top and bottom of the boot not the sides. All the racks i have seen have side straps. Is this ok/safe.

as long as you make sure they're tight and don't overload the rack they should be fine. If you can try and keep the straps as short as possible, they'll have less play in them and will flex less
