looking at 6+ weeks off the bike, took a tumble at Glentress at the bottom of the blue, of all places, broken thumb requiring a pin and a freak knee injury, rock caught my pad as i fell, pulled the pad forward and my knee was gouged open on said rock, huge hole requiring stitches and possible plastic surgery(hopefully not) due to the size of scar.

on the upside i was absolutely twatted on morphine for 2 days with some attractive nurses looking after me

its gonna be a long 6+ weeks, especially in this weather.

id stick some photos up, but ill spare you the ordeal
i spent all me money on whisky and beer!!!

Unlucky. They do say that chicks dig scars...

... but I've got a 5 inch scar on one knee, and I can't say it's ever helped me.

Go on, post some pics :-)

On the bright side it's on your knee so it doesn't really matter what it looks like!

Also remember - chicks dig scars!!:lol:

wound before being cleaned, the photo doesnt show the depth of the hole, the doctor was in upto the knuckle(oooooh!!) when cleaning

after cleaning, notice the scrubbing brush (done under local anaesthetic, but cleaned correctly the next day under general anaesthetic)

Oh, that's no good... Where were you when you crashed? Good Game? Hope you heal up fast. Opposable thumbs are overrated.

Oh, did they give you a self-administered morphine drip? Medicine at it's finest... "Oh, that hurts, I'll press the button" "Hmm, still a wee bit sore, I'll press the button." "Hmm, my foot's itchy, I'll press the button" "My dad's turned up and he insists on trying to make me feel better, I'm losing my mind here... I'll press the button!"

nice looking scar, im impressed, shemae they tend to tidy themselves up in time as they are never as impressive as straight after stitching.

i also thin morphine is a good thing, ive only had it once but firmly believe you should be allowed to use it atleast twice daily whether you are in pain or not!
