handbag? get her.
it's a big old size 10 steel toecapped kick in the balls soveda. make no mistake.
there should be a specific requirement that you should not be allowed to post in the buying advice forum unless you've been riding over 200 miles per week and chewing the stem for 10 years. otherwise some folks will lead others astray with their half-baked inexperienced nonsense and advising on a topic which they really know nothing about.0 -
Sounds like you're just a Campag fan-boi - how many miles have you done on Dura-Ace 7900 or SRAM Red?0
-
nope, but a nice try to put me in your pre-conceived box. funny how some people feel more comfortable like that eh?
i've ridden groupsets from all 3 manufacturers and all over the course of many years.
you would have heard the same reaction if somebody had started spouting off that the sram double tap changing system is very difficult to use. total nonsense.0 -

You dropped your clutch bag sweetie.
watch that blood pressure, someone might actually buy a bike because they like the way the shifters work!
ETA: and about the factual innacuracies in your post?0 -

What a complete pillock you are.
I could be the same with surfing but there's no need whatsoever. Utterly pointless and utterly sad.
Someone DARES to question your Record kit so you lambast them? Christ do you take it to bed and give it some man-love too?
Elitists suck in any sport. Big time.0 -
yes i do. lots of man love, particularly the thumb shifters. let's just say they're....versatile. .
hey, it's a public forum. people can post what they want. get over it. you post up with bollocks, you get shot down. big deal.
yes i am a pillock and a elitist and have got a big old handbag and balls the size of watermelons. who gives a sh*t.
you can take your surf board and stick it up your hippy arse.
who's next?0 -
Right so surfers are all hippys are they? Riigghhhht... Sum of your knowledge - zilch.
And you're a keyboard warrior that thinks he's being a bit controversial and obnoxious is funny?
Sorry mate, join a queue of a million others keyboard warriors pretending they are something they aren't.
If indeed you are the crazy pro rider you claim to be then well done - you make the sport look deeply unappealing to potential beginners and make yourself look an utter t1t.
I am amused and rather "stoked" to have found such an internet troll as yourself so early in my road biking "career."
Pure gold.
I see you're pretty new here Peter - you're in for a rough ride with that attitude. Seems you have a lot to learn.
Now go and stroke your carbon rear mech and maybe take it out to dinner. It's extremely unlikely that you have an other half.0 -
i can see i pressed your buttons hippy. i love it when people get riled up over the internet. cracks me up. and hippy i got you so gooooood.
the good news hippy is that i'm gonna be following you round on other threads now to wind you up again.
right. that's me done for the day.0 -
Indeed - 5.30 must be about your bed time.
I'm surprised your Mum has let you use her PC this late.0 -
funckchicken wrote:complete bollocks, and let's face it napolean D you by your own admission only started cycling "properly" less than 2 years ago. i therefore take all your reviews and experiences with a big old bag of salt trust me.
and overall the record group came out top in the Cycling plus review. fact.
and the only area in which it said sram red outperformed record was the brakes. fact.
and record ain't even campag's top groupset. super record is just as good performance wise, but even lighter.
My reviews are my opinion, no more no less. I have ridden approx 13,000 miles in those two years. Because my opinion differs from yours and is expressed (very) differently makes it no less valid. I feel that the way I express my opinion makes it more useful to someone reading it however.
You've agreed with what I said too, each group has it's plus points.
Super Record is more expensive, this was a test between similarly priced group sets.
It's people like yourself that makes the internet so amusing. An angry, frustrated man/woman hiding behind anonymity...0 -

Thanks for the amusement, not sure anybody is fooled by your attempted intimidation though. Pathetic ;]0 -
In fact I think there's more than enough here for an outright ban.0
