God help us.... I'm sure I read somewhere that the company that manufactures these was fighting the UK government to have them re-classified as motor transport so that they could go on the road, or was it the other way round, they wanted anyone on one classified as a pedestrian so that they could go on the pavement. I hope they don't become popular - yet another slow moving blockage on the roads!

Problem is that currently they are illegal to use on the roads, and illegal to use on the pavements. Transport for people too lazy to even walk.

They go just as fast as the majority of cyclists so I couldn't in all honesty say they shouldn't be on the road.

They woudl be great on my commute, If my commute was flat I would need to recharge it at each end, and I'd be going a lot slower.

they look less lethal than a C5 though...

    Fantastic!

Can't wait to see these all over London!

I reckon they'll provide a suitable target to divert driver aggro away from bike commuters.

But that doesn't help us SCRers - we to are also faster then the majority of cyclists!

Just imagine if they create their own rival faction: SSR - Silly Sedgeway Racing ;-)
