With the way the weather has been, im after getting some sunglasses, but with having poor eyes :D so i need to get some prescription sunglasses! I dont want standard frames though and am interested in picking up a fancy pair of sunglasses!

My question is, will opticians produce lenses for say these or is it not an option? Also if they will do it, how much is it likely to cost. Im just curious before i consider laying out some money!

Cheers

I went to my optitions with a similar problem, they fixed me up with some Windrams with removable prescription insert, and they are absolutely fantastic, they are bomb proof as well, the frames look alittle cheap, but they are incredibly strong. They cost about £120 in total, which, considering the cost of a pair of designer glasses, isn't bad going at all.

For those with glasses needing prescription lenses (Rx) see this site. It will tell you whether the cycling sunglasses they have can have No Rx,Insert Rx or Fitted (as in the lens itself) Rx. Hope this helps. Lasered eyes are the best option though!!
