Torq energy ; cracking stuff!

Unfortunatley the Crank Brothers Joplin seat post wont fit the I beam seat so i'm going to have to invest in another saddle.

The detail on the bike is fantastic. Looks so impressive in the flesh. I thought the stumpy loked good but i think this surpasses it by far. More importantly it should be fantastic to ride. Perhaps not as quick uphill but when things get vertical ive no doubt the meta will perform.

    Or break

Amazing bike you got there though - jealous

Love the finish, great parts too. - Have you got the remote joplin, or the 'lever under the saddle' design?

hehe thanks.I had the remote lever version but to be honest it was a right pain. Used to frequently get stuck and require constant adjustment. I had it converted to the lever version but just need to get a new saddle now due to the i beam thingy...
  • nice, sir.

Nice bike. Hope you enjoy riding it!

But HOW MUCH TORQ!! Lol. Hope you didn't pay loads for it! Torq are selling it for £65 for 5 tubs (in any flavour combo IIRC), delivered!

i pay £8 per tub from the lbs which is quite good. I use quite alot, not only for drink but i sprinkle it on cornflakes and all sorts!

Bit of an update . Frame snapped last month in the usual areas : shock mounting bracket and seat tube. Fast turn around from Madison ( 3 Weeks) and this arrived :

Noticably siffer than the previous one and the build quality is far better. However with it being white its a right pain to keep clean! Still descends like a demon but climbing is tough. It now weighs in at 32 lbs. I would have thought that it was going to weigh the same if not less than the other one.
  • Looks good in white!
  • Looking miles better in white. Now to get it on a diet :lol:
  • definitely better in white

PS It's a mountain bike, it's supposed to be dirty :)
  • Looks absolutely lovely, and think it looks much better in white than black. Provides a bit more sparkle!

    A diet is needed.
