Two punctures in as many days. Minute speck of glass. They're coming off to be replaced with Ultra Race from my other bike.

Besides what with the 23/25 size? Tyre with an identity crisis.

Comfortable large volume 25c casing, merged with fast-rolling 23c Dual Radius Tread (DRT) ensure a supple ride that rolls fast and corners extremely well, all in one tyre. Casing: 25c 120 TPI casing. 700 x 23c dual compound tread.

    Apparently
My current theory is that these tires are particularly sticky when wet, and that as a result, they tend to pick up pieces of glass and get punctured by them. I would avoid using them on any bike you ride in the rain. But if you have a nice-weather-only bike that you'd like to make more comfortable, try them!

    and
I agree with previous post that damp/wet tyres pick up glass and flints that work their way through the casing. You just can't stop to clean your tyres every time you ride through a puddle.

    There was me feeling foolish.

Incidentally, the Spesh is now sporting Conti GP4000S. What a difference. Let's see how it performs in the wet.
