Walked four miles today

2 punctures, broken mini-pump, no cash and Cycles UK was NOT open at 8 this morning, but thanks to the couple of cyclist who offered me a spare inner tube.

That will teach me for telling DW that commuting by public transport is stressful.

    That's a b&ugger. I had two visits from the PF yesterday. Seen a good few the last couple of days who've had similar visits.

    i had one yesterday, had to change tubes in the hail and thunder! good times...

    think i might have to change my vittoria rubinos as the rubber has massive cuts in after just 500 miles!! what is that?! my gatorskins lasted some 3000 before i changed them...

    who else makes yellow bombproof tyres??

    There was a recent thread on this. I was going to buy some Rubinos instead of Gatorskins, but just not convinced by them for the commute.

    well need the yellow tyres to match the yellow team banana

    agreee not impressed at all with rubinos, seem a bit slippery in wet compared to gatorskins too...
