Fed up with cold hands, I've decided that I need a pair of winter gloves. While I am at it, I may as well order a new pair of short finger mitts for the summer. (its topsy turvey seasons here in Oz). If its relevant I have small hands (current pair are XL Ladies)

A site search of the forum doesn't reveal too much so I am after some recommendations on what to get for:

Pair 1: Winter gloves (winter)

Pair 2: Short finger mitts (summer)

Cheers

I like the Spesh BG Gloves for both summer and winter. Have a look at their range

I'd given another vote for Specialized BG Gloves.

I think you need a 3rd pair of gloves though. You want a cheap pair of full finger glove liners. You can wear these underneath either your mitts or your thicker winter gloves as needed, which gives you a lot more flexibility!

summer mitts - if u like next to no padding i recommend giro zero mitts, altho slight annoyance is the black stuff on the palm comes off onto skin just above the wrist apart from that they fit well.
winter gloves - after trying a few, ive started using a pair of burton goretex snowboarding mittens, has the right amount of ventilation and is actually waterproof.

+1 on spesh bg fingerless and they also do a very nice full finger glove for summer.
For winter I like my Campag textran gloves, windproof and waterproof and pretty cheap in UK for a change
