Looking at Shimano 7850 C24 Clinchers or Easton EA90 SLX - doing sportives, road races. Etc - want a light wheel - which one should I buy- advantages and disavantages of both?

Help would be appreciated. Also what is opinion of Mavic R -System.

I've got the shimanos and they are awesome wheels. Light, stiff but forgiving and look great. Definitely recommend them. Had them about a year, they still run perfectly true and persuaded my brother to get a set aswell. Never tried any easton wheels but go for the shimanos.

I have the Easton's and loving them thus far. Not much mileage yet, but they're incredibly light and the ceramic bearings: smooth as butter. Looking good too:

The same quandary as me then :D

Although what about the Shimano 7850 C50?? Anyone had a go at these as well?

I currently use Planet X Model B. Would like a lighter set, especially for climbing hills in both training and sportives. However would also like the added bonus of Aero to help me maintain a good speed when riding in group runs. or am i asking the impossible??
