I've just started to feel really crappy an hour ago. My eyes feel like they have lead weights on the lids and my body is slow, lethargic and getting a little achy.

The school I work in has 5 confirmed cases so I wouldn't be surprised if I had it. Only thing is I'm off to see Oasis Thursday and I'm getting married next Wednesday!

Being a bit of a hypocrit there really. I've been happily married for 20 years. Mind you I don't know how long Mrs Tank has been happy for.:lol:

This is getting a bit close now  , Hammersmith is just down the Road from me. Got an e mail this morning from HR asking us to update all of our personal details and asking us when we can attend meetings to go over the plans in place so that we can continue to provide services during the event of an outbreak at work.

Good luck next Wednesday. Never been married, Im commitmentaphobic apparently  .

Picked up my Brother from Heathrow the other Day. Saw a Japanese couple in surgical masks and thought silly Muppets. My Mum is a Nurse, Im going to ask if she can get hold of some.

Commitmentaphobia isnt the worst thing in the World. It doesnt affect me everyday, I just freeze when Im asked certain questions

Don't blame you mate, I'm going through antispetic hand gel like there's no tomorrow. I'm washing my hands every 5 mins, eating oranges, grapefruits, taking vitamin c tablets. Only thing is my hands look like a lepers now cos they are all dry and cracked.

We've had 1 confirmed Swine Flu case in our office and 2 further suspected cases with those people off work. I was talking to a couple of colleagues who also feel very achy and tired, one woman said that she feels like she's done a huge workout at the gym all the time at the moment and almost threw up on the train to work the other morning.

It's most definitely here to stay!

Japanese people often wear masks like that when they're ill, it's not to protect themselves from the germs or bacteria in the air, it's to prevent them spreading their bacteria to others. It's very typical of the very community minded Japanese to wear masks to protect others and very typical of Westerners to assume that the mask is there to look after "number 1".
