No; I'm just lazy when it comes to cleaning them.

Snow & ice time: I stayed off the snow. I've found in the past that 23mm tyres and snow don't mix well. Otherwise I rode. I was, however, lucky enough to have a rare off on some ice exiting a roundabout during my extended recovery. One of those unpleasant occasions when you push the pedal down, the rear wheel whips out from under you, and next thing you know you're spinning along the road on your hip with a bike attached to the soles of your feet, and the rear wheel going "wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee".
Swim. Bike. Run. Yeah. That's what I used to do.

How was dinner on Saturday? Wass it worth missing the DD for?

Well, it was OK, and it would have been curtains for me if I'd missed it. So I suppose so, in a way, although I'd have rather done the DD.

the Pure Hell that is Lower Thames Street.

At least they've done something about the elephant head sized mound of tarmac at the church - I went straight over that in a moment of inattention and came down with snow on.

Lower Thames St is the worst bit of road I have the misfortune to ride on.

Now am I the only one to have been aroused by the green socks?

    Anyone?

Ok so they're not that bad, but they do go up pretty well don't they, if in the wrong conditions? :?
We only have safety stock here, but some of the cans have vinegar syndrome which is making them degrade, the nitrate stock is kept somewhere else....far away
