Hello,

I ride a Carrera Subway Zero SS on my commute 8 miles each way. It still has the standard tyres on, they are: Innova 700 x 28c.

This does not scream a quality tyre to me, what benefit would i get from upgrading, what do I upgrade them too?

Cheers

Tyre upgrades can be for different aims i.e. puncture resistance or performance improvement. Typically a very puncture resistant tyre will be heavier whilst a performance tyre will roll more easily and grip better in the corners but being lighter may be more prone to punctures. Most people go for a puncture resistant tyre for commuting as it is less important to corner hard than to get to work clean and on time.
