I think it just shows how professional he is. Just be thankful the team isn't sponsored by Durex  :?

    Or Kleenex tissues

Wonder if Denis Menchov has contemplated forming an Elastoplast-Savlon team for next season?

Does this mean that any Astana stage winners will have to dress in a Borat style mankini?

Columbia-HTC are a US registered team. Columbia are primarily a US brand, and no doubt HTC want to make a killing in that market. Have you seen the way a lot of US sports people behave in interviews?

The first thing they generally do is thank the fans and sponsors, while drinking one of their sponsors drinks, and wearing the baseball cap.

HTC do the new Google phone (HTC Magic), supposed to be an excellent piece of kit.I was planning to get one, but work ordered me an iPhone instead - which is also great.

(I'd like to point out I'm not sponsored by Apple  )
  • LangerDan - he was promoting DZNuts.http://www.dz-nuts.com/catalog/

I think he was advertising Oakleys at the end of yesterday's stage.

Pity the guy that picks up the Vaseline sponsorship ("oh yes, he's certainly using that in a major way, certainly").

    ...a few free phone calls?
    ...a free phone??

Cav probably got paid/will get paid more for doing that cheesy victory salute than most people here would earn in a year.

...personally, I don't blame him. I'd do it if I were in a similar position. ie. Arguably the current top sprinter, physically able to comfortably take the time out to make myself look an ar*e across the finish line. For mucho $$$'s.

That's the swimming pool sorted.

I just hope next years sponsors aren't Anusol!
