I used to always wear it under my baggy shorts, but then I went out and forgot to put it on and felt fine. The shorts fit better without it. Maybe my body has adjusted to not wearing chammys.

Anyone else leavin it be?

Maybe the repeated spanking of your bottom with a wet womans weekly aided in the firming of your rear?....maybe i know these things?

I can leave it behind ( ) for rides of less than about 10 miles, any longer and I find it really helps avoid pain.

Whether or not the shorts are a better fit without depends on the shorts, suppose that's not too surprising.

I never wear them, can't abide them, it's not even like I have a particularily seasoned bum or padded saddle, I just don't find riding uncomfortable. But I appreciate that I'm probably in a minority there! Maybe 60000 miles of motorbike riding has destroyed my bum nerves or something.

I think it depends how far and what type - did a 2 hour fast ride at weekend where I was out of saddle a lot - probably could have doen without, commuting definitely go without, all day ride I'll take the hot crotch over the worn out ring thanks.
