    Actually, I stumbled into this thread hoping that it was one where I could ask dumb questions that everyone else excelt me knows the answer to. Like-

    When riders wear skinsuits on long stages, how do they, er, pee?

    Maybe the fact they *can't* go while they're wearing it makes them go faster to get to the finish :lol:

    I may be spoiling a peloton secret, but riders don't always stop for the nature break. Ever seen a rider take his water bidon and spray a nice squirt on the general area of his crotch? Now you know why.

    Thanks for that, Drenkrom, I have seen them to that with their bidons, and I did have that sneaking suspicion.


    I trust however, that the ladies don't ride such long distances as the men not because they can't but because the race organisers would have to put in portaloos. And wherever there are portaloos, there are queues.
