Friday night, ordered a(nother) pair of prescription sunnies on-line.

Saturday morning, 8.35 phone call to discuss my order and give me lens choices that weren't available on-line. (I forgive them for getting me out of bed!) Knowing what I already have, they recommend a lens for flat light conditions.

Monday afternoon, the bloke who is actually making the specs on-site gives me a call just to check I'm happy with the lens colour.

these guys are professionals of the most reliable sort.

Wouldn't surprise me to find the goods on my doormat Tuesday morning (although they are promised for Thursday).

I'm in the market for some prescription shades myself but a bit confused about the different lens colours. I can only afford 1 pair so which would be the best for all round use? Or should I be considering photochromic?

BTW - "Fast and Bulbous", Beefheart fan maybe?

    Definitely agree.

Got to say of the significant amounts of cash I can't help spending on cycle stuff this year, my prescription Optilabs glasses are up there as top purchase.

Great service over the phone as you say (but not saturday morning!!) Quick turnaround and quality product - should have bought some years ago.

I went for grey photocromic lenses which have certainly suited all light conditions I've encountered.
