note to self dont spin wheel while finger is in the way.0 -
people have taken the ends of their fingers off with rotors.
spokes tend to bruise more than cut."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I had a pedal incident about 2 years ago - trying to get them off, my hand slipped on to the chain ring - AWOOOO it hurt! Not a deep cut or anything like above but my nail bed is still wonky and my fingers have clicked loads ever since
Hope if feels better soon!http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss9/ ... lurLT2.jpg

Ouch. I know the feeling. When I was about 7/8 I had my bike upside down in the yard, and was spinning the rear wheel, I tried putting my hand in between the spokes to stop it, but all that happened was, my finger got stuck on the chain which then got pulled into the cassette (Not sure why, but the chain was still rotating? I think the pedals were goin for it too).
Needless to say, I lost my little finger nail completely. Went running inside to show my mum a finger covered in blood and oil. Then came my moment of manliness
Me: "Wah, wah"
Mum: "What the hell have you done!?!?"
Me: "Wah, wa........ I fell over"It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.
