I have a Dakine Apex pack and it's starting to get a bit stinky. Does anyone know if they're OK to stick in the washing machine on a cold wash?

I've washed my camelback a few times now. Don't get them hot or any foam on the back can melt...

You might want to re-waterproof it after you're done though.

Same here, usually bung it on a 30 deg wash inside a mesh bag so the straps don't tangle up with everything else.
It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.

    I've bought a new bike....ouch - result

Yep I'm washing my pack once a week lately as I use it twice a day for commuting, often with no top on. It's got one of those reinforced arched backs so I really have to jam it in. Just take the bladder out first.
