Just wondered if many people biked round Beamish Woods? I've recently started biking and this is my usual haunt. I must admit in the sun it;s reasonably easy and enjoyable but I find it pretty challenging in the wet to say the least in parts.

What sort of route grading would this kind of route get (distance not included as it's a pretty short route)? I'm just curious as to what level I'm at should I consider going to trail ventres etc in the future.

the beamish and causey route is a blue in my book. its around 18miles and its quite simple. a few short and steep climbs which arnt challenging if you have any form of fitness whatsoever. downhill is little and not very often.
