Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has any experience of Easton EA70 wheels, or could recommend anything for around the £300-350 mark with a Campag hub.

Would love to buy EA90s as they seem to get excellent reviews but can't really justify the extra expense.

Many thanks

I have a pair of EA70s - can't fault them in the 8-9 monthsI've been using them. They seemed to offer the best spec/performance for the price when I bought them....

What about the Campag Zonda wheel set for about 350?

I got a pair on the ribble. There pretty light for the money, roll well and are fairly rigid, and they seem to love going up hills unlike myself? But seriously a good wheel set and good value from Campag? You can't go wrong can you!

    Thanks for the replies.

I love the look of the Zondas though haven't found many reviews of the them or the EA70s for that matter..

Desperate to get my bike built now, so I'll see which of the 2 my LBS can get in soonest!

I've got Zondas, in 2000 miles my LBS have done one minor tweak to correct a small wobble in the back wheel caused by hitting a pot hole hard resulting in a pinch flat. They are very good (IMO).

Dunno. Mine came with the tyres fitted on already (Victtoria open corsa), but should it really be a priority when choosing your hoops? Cost, weight, performance, etc should outweigh putting tyres on IMO. It's not like your gunno do it everyday is it!

    I know, I know... :)

But I do hate that stressful feeling you get when you have to change a tube on a club run, while everyone watches on..

Just be cheeky and say you are learning and if someone can give you a hand - I don't mind being the noobie :)
