Look Keo Sprint / Laneo - made badly?
Sort of in the title really, 3 of us who ride together have in the last few months bought these pedals and all of us are disappointed by the play in the bearings and the ropey dry feel when you spin them. Are all Look Keos this poor or have 3 of us been unlucky??
How do Shimano Ultegra SL's compare too as an alternative (more expensive and heavier I know that bit).
Wondered what other people have experienced?

you get what you pay for
and that includes keosconstantly reavalueating the situation and altering the perceived parameters accordingly0 -
It's worth buying the Keo pedal tool (£4), giving it all a good clean then re-packing with grease0

Get what you pay for? but I thought the mechanics of the Sprints would be the same as the expensive Carbon ones apart from the axle and platform materials? ...maybe not... I just thought if you were desinging a pedal then you wouldn't be happy if it had excessive play in it, they are £60 as well. The old Look ones didn't do it, they were good.
The tool then, I found this... http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/cycle/7/Look_ ... 360018170/ ...it doesn't mention whether this does Keos or do all Look pedals use the same tool?0 -
