nervex, your list is for the 2007 prologue haha

does anyone have a complete list for today? jimy's doing best so far. I can't find anything. I assume it'll appear on the letour.fr website in the live coverage section when it starts...

    EDIT - thanks Lucy!

now we have a complete list here's a question: how is this decided?

is it significant that Armstrong is off so early - a sign that the bluffing is over and he's setting tempo for his teammate perhaps? or maybe (cynicism alert) he wants the smaller gaps and weaker riders around him for the tv friendly catch ?

and how did wiggins muscle his way into the last group? he merits it, i just wondered if there are some official criteria?

Apparently Bruyneel changed the starting order yesterday for the TT. Levi and Lance are going earlier to avoid the possible late day thunderstorms and Contador later...

    Nice echo, Cloudy :)

The team's are given the places in reverse team order by number (ie Cervelo go off 20,40,60 as they have the number 1 jersey etc.) which rider goes off on those numbers is down to the individual teams, so Garmin presumably want to give Wiggins the most info about splits.

ITV4 may have screwed up their coverage with Lance already half way through before they even start...

Those start times may well be european central time,in which case, armstrong will have already finished.
Either way,I'm very surprised he's off so early.
If Armstrong is a contendor,I wouldn't have thought he would want all & sundry to have access to his split times.
The distance & terrain mean there will be some serious gains/losses to be had.
A few years back,Armstrong caught & took over a minute out of Ulrich, over this distance,on a flat course.
    so many cols,so little time!

Is Europe one hour ahead of british summer time?
If so,channel 4 will miss the first hours racing.
