I've had the post for 7 weeks now and absolutely love it. I got the lever one (not remote)
and its in its element when going down descents that level up or incline - all it takes is a pop of the lever and you're back up in perfect pedalling position.

To anyone thinking of buying one do remember that its not perfect - the post does not always move up and down super smoothly - as a rule of thumb the more you use it the more lubricated it is and the better it works.

The biggest change it's brought to my riding is confidence on descending and improved flow on my rides. Before I'd always stop and get off the bike to loosen the quick release to drop my saddle. The most annoying thing would be when the descent levelled out and you had to pedal again. This woud require (a) dismounting and raising the seatpost (b) pedaling standing up which is not always ideal.

It hasn't added much weight to the steed either. This was initially a huge concern but the post is pretty light. Also had some real good customer service from tibolts who are the distributors. Had a dodgy clamp and they posted me a new one in 2 days.

What is the weight difference of this seatpost?

    Description:
    £149.99 for remote version
    Weight (g):
    550 g
    Diameters Available:
    30.9mm, 31.6mm

Surprised its 550g feels a lot lighter. Personally the bike seems only a tad heavier when compared to using my Thomson seatpost. Before I got the post I thought the weight would be a dealbreaker, however I got it and was surprised at how light it felt and its benefits make up for any weighty issues.

Got it on my AM/Trail bike. Wouldn't use it for xc racing anyway so weight shouldn't be a huge issue.

Mate of mine has one and uses it when training and out riding. His Thompson goes back in when he races too.

Your Hifi looks awesome. Was toying with the idea of getting the 29er version but not sure if could hack 100mm travel on the 29er model. Red colur scheme looks amazing though

Thanks mate. I love the Hifi, it's a great, fast trail bike (in good hands - not mine though :) ). Most bike colours seem to be a little drab lately and the bright red really caught my attention, luckily it's a great bike too
