I sent my front brake off to Hope as I pulled a bolt through the threads on my mini x2 pro's even though I set the torque wrench to 3.5Nm (5N/m limit).

Luckily they have agreed to do the work for free, good you may think.

Unfortunately the new master cylinder body they have fitted is nowhere near the same colour or shade as the rest of the system and the bar clamp. Have I been fobbed off with a second that failed on the colour finish or is there night and day difference's in the quality of finishing that anodising allows. I'm stuck now with a £160 brake that looks sh1t. Surely when they married the body and clamp up they should of seen the difference in colour?

My main problem is that it's mid race season and time off the bike is going to cripple my chances of keeping up this years good form. Yes the brake works, but it looks nothing like the other one.

On a positive note the brake was sent tues and arrived back today.
