Driving home from work this morning

Was driving home from work this morning @ about 2:30.

Was driving through Blacon to drop my mate off first and I could see a car stopped on the wrong side of the road, at an angle.

As I got closer I could see it was a minicab.

A man was trying to drag the taxi driver out of the drivers door, and was punching the $hit out of him in the process.

I accelerated, and then screeched to a halt right by the drivers door, which made the thug stop pummeling the driver.

Was about to get out when the thug started running off.

I shouted to the driver to see if he was ok... He gave me a weary thumbs up.

Slammed my car into reverse and took off after the thug.

Bloody lost him. Grrrr

What's the world coming to I ask ya?

  • Do you live in Chester, or Afghanchester?!

Good on you for becoming the 'have a go hero' though, especially when you hear about other cases where knives were pulled etc :? it's an increasingly dangerous and dark world we are living in...

    lol
If Chester was a bath tub, Blacon would be part of the ring of scum.

Lots of good people live there, but there are so many chavs and ars*holes there.

I wasn't really a 'have a go hero', cos I didnt have time to get out of the car before he ran off lol

The thug must have pegged it when he realised there were 2 of us in the car.

I drove a minicab for a while about 10 years ago, and had my fair share of run-ins with thugs. Scary stuff.

    Good description!

I work in Chester (Chester Exhaust) & a lot of our good people come from Blacon, also loads of our bad people!

Well done on stopping the prat
  • A few years back I was driving through town with a mate one night when we saw a guy kick in a chippies shop front window. About half a dozen workers from the chippie ran after him, one of whom jumped into the back of my car, and crowds from the street started running after him. Somehow he escaped them all but I caught up with him down a side street and held him till the police arrived.

At the time I thought I was doing the right thing by not letting the guys from the chip shop beat him to a pulp and letting the police deal with it. However it turns out we never got called up to court to be a witness as the guy had done a runner and nothing has been heard of him since.

So what damn use is the Justice system when these people know they can get away with it and carry on screwing up everybody elses lives?

Like I said, I didnt do much, but sometimes just being there is enough to make a retard thug think twice and run off.

Yep, most of them get away with it! The police are not bothered.

It's these thugs and idiots that eventually progress to stabbing people.

The police have the chance of nipping them in the bud, but dont give a toss.

More interested in why your brake light isnt working.

It's just good to know that there are others out there who will stop and help people who have been the victims of these ars*holes.
    Good on ya!

Good old Blacon, I have a few mates that live there, really sound people, but it's also obviously full of tossers like that, probably just didn't have any money to pay his fare, so rather than just running off decided to attack the driver instead. Scum, well done intervening

    cheers,
    yeah ur probably right.
It happened by the lodge, which is usually a 'better' part of Blacon.
Hate driving down Stamford road. Scum bags throwing bricks at the car etc.
Used to hate Cleaver road. Glad when they bulldozed it :D:D:D
Was a shame they moved the scum out first...

Cheers pal! Like being described as decent lol

No, I didn't contact the police. Due to the early time in the morning, and the fact that I dont think I could give a particularly good description.

Tall Skinhead, muscly, wearing a tight t-shirt and jeans. Describes a lot of d*cks who live around here really.

Taxi driver was ok. Saw him driving around 10 mins after the attack. He gave me the thumbs up again.
