... or glossy (sorry, semi-gloss) toss? Had a taster with a Prendas order, but not sure how substantial the full feature is? Photos look great, but £9 a copy  I suppose I could discontinue Pro Cycling...

The photos are always beautiful, and some of the writing is very good too, but it does go a little bit too far on the 'cycling is a mystical pasttime' schtik.

not read it.... but have been trying to curb my urge to buy the newest issue of Pro Cycling, Cycle Sport, Cycling Plus, Cycling Weekly or whatever, Pro Cycling a must each month, but have literally boxes of old cycling magazines, many of whihc have had little more than a cursory thumb through

Took a detour on my ride this morning to buy the TdF 164 page issue of the Comic
  • I looked at it at the cycle show. Thankfully now I know never to buy a copy.

I'd second that. I've bought 3 or 4, and on whe whole they are a good read. Bit expensive, but you don't get all the filler like the general cycling mags.

All killer no filler articles and awesome photos.

You are getting a coffee table book rather than a magazine.

    But....

    9 quid!

So that's £9 plus postage then...

Maybe I'll leave the mysticism of cycling alone for a bit.

I'm sure I've seen it in Edinburgh Bicycle and a few other bike shops, so you may stumble across it sometime...

Personally, I think it's great. Only you can decide if it's worth £9 to you. I spend £9 on things that are no way near as enjoyable as Rouleur quite regularly - trips to cinema etc.
