Anyone on here doing the Merlin Ride in West Wales on Sunday?

    I'm doing it. It'll be my first sportive, so am a little nervous especially as I'm doing the full distance.

    Yes, doing it also. Really looking forward - the climb over Foel Fawr is one of the best and the long descent to Llangadog is fantastic.

    Keeping a careful eye on the forecast, though. I've gotten used to all this nice weather we've had - rain would be a bit of a shock to the system and I wouldn't want to smudge those detailed maps they sent out! :shock:

    I'll be doing the 70 miles, as the missus is coming along for her first sportive (my second!). Really looking forward as I've ridden on a few of the roads before and they're great. I can't wait!

    Like you say, let's hope it stays dry for Sunday!
