Need advice for a new bike? (original, eh?)

Hello everyone,

I have Decathlon Rockrider 5.1 (2 months so far), but my brother wants a bike so that's a good excuse to buy myself new one and give him the "old" Rockrider :)

Generally I'm very happy with the Rockrider (I'm still newbie), I'm riding ~50km every Saturday and I'm going to work with it everyday. The bad thing is that from the bumps and because I'm jumping from the curbs - the rims on both tires are a bit bent, so I could use Double Wall Alloy Rims. It would be nice to have front disk brake, too.

My budget is between £150 - £300...
well, I know I can't buy the best bike on the world, but the best for that money would be great :)

So, the nominees are...:

- Specialized Hardrock Sport White 2009 - £293.61
it is a bit over the budget but if it is worth the money...

- Decathlon Rockrider 5.3 - £299 This one sounds really great
...yeah I'm a fan already...and SRAM X5 :P

- Claud Butler Stoneriver 2008 - £260

- Carrera Vulcan Disc Spec 08 - no longer 250, but I'll wait :?

- Giant Boulder Disc Bike 2009 - £229.99

- CLAUD BUTLER PAGAN D2 07 - Sepcial offer - £199

Any other offers in that price range are very welcome !
Thanks in advance!

P.S.: one stupid question...is that a BSO or its a real bike ?

Look's like you've answered your own question fella...if you're happy with the Decathlon you've got then you probably wont find a better specced bike for the money than the 5.3.

I would'nt spend less than £300 tbh and find some pennies for some V8 copy's for ya new bike too!

    Reebok...No.

(linkys would have been nice  )
