SPD shoes for the wider foot?

Can anyone suggest any makes/models of SPD shoes that aren't as narrow as the majority seem to be?

Thanks

Try the Specialised BG Range. I've got wide Size 12s and their 47s fit me fine.

Shimano MP66 are pretty wide fitting, as are 661 Filters. They're both more trail/DH oriented than race shoes though.

Another vote for Specialized BG Sport shoes.

I found both Northwave & Shimano to be quite narrow around the toe box area.

Best bet is to pop into your LBS & try some on.

Bontrager shoes - very nice and wider fit than most. The E-Soles system is excellent too.

Stay away from sidi they are very narrow, i run the dragon 2's but thankfully I have narrow feet.
  • I've got a wider feet and have the same trouble.

The best fit I've found are Shimano MP66 - 1 size bigger than my normal.

I've also got M076's which are a bit snugger but acceptable.

I've tried the Spec BG ones and they do seem roomy - maybe a bit tight on the toes.

Ones to definitly avoid are DHB m1's and Mavic's.
