London to Cambridge 26th July
Doing the above bike ride on my mountain bike. Just wondered if anyone else out there was doing this on a mountain bike.
I've only been max 30 miles, mainly in woods, this 60 miles.
People are telling me I should change my tires for this, do I really too??

get yourself some MTB slicks, it will make the whole ride alot more enjoyable (and smoother, faster etc), its a great ride, alot more fun than others i have done.
i did it on a MTB last year as most other people did and its a really good atmosphere.
the beer tent at the end on the green makes everything A OK!0
