Suspension forks for £150 - £200 ? ?

Can anyone recommend good sus forks for around £150 - £200 new or second hand ?

Depends what you're coming from though. Coming from a Suntour bedspring fork to a Tora, then they're bloody great. Coming from a dual air Revalation, not so good.

The Tora is fitted as standard on many £1000+ bikes, so can't be that bad!

Nah, they're a great fork - especially considering the price. 318 being the pick of the bunch.

check out merlin cycles (http://www.merlincycles.co.uk/marzocchi-and-rockshox-suspension-forks/) they seem to have really good prices on Rockshox Recon SLs
and other forks too. Also take a look at chainreactioncycles.

So what bike is it for, and what riding?

GT avalanche 1.0, it has Suntour x100 at the moment, not looking to buy yet, just curious on what would be a good fork.

Not a bad fork anyway.

For harder riding, and as the bike can take more travel, a Tora 318 Uturn or Recon Uturn

For XC, a Tora Race.
