Well I thought I was doing the right thing by posting this thread in the Touring forum but since it's not garnering many replies I'd appreciate it if some of you chaps from this forum (Workshop) would click the link and give me your thoughts (please don't reply here - keep it in the original thread). Do read to the end before replying though as I've already eliminated a couple of the choices mentioned in my opening post.

Alternatively, if a kindly mod wants to move the thread here, that'd be lovely too
