Just 2 more bikes (that fit)

I never understood why DeVer kept telling me that I was a medium frame (Giant bikes) and often a size smaller than I'd expect.

Now that I have my Kharma 53.5 top tube, I'm beginning to understand why. My Giant SCR is relatively huge. Sure I could adjust this and that but what's the point.

My giant is practically unbearable compared to the Kharma, which today felt therapeutic. I can't keep commuting on the Kharma.

So, two more bikes.

A Bianchi in Celeste because that's the whole point of buying a Bianchi. I

Single speed, yes yes I know but I want something for the winter months that I can hose down with water and not worry about shifting and the like. I do have ITB's SS frame but I stupidly put it in my Gran's garage and my Uncles, Brother and Father have all taken a liking to it! (GF wouldn't let me have more than 2 bikes in the flat and the Kharma sleeps on my side of the bedroom, tis a beautiful site to wake up to).

So where will I keep three bikes? In a shed or in the garage.

How will I pay for all of this... I buy a lottery ticket for every Wednesday and Saturday... and my CV is out there....

A man can dream and hope. Just winding the minutes away until 5pm...

I've already been warned by the other half, that if I aquire another bike, even if it's free, that I'm in for a kicking. Doesn't stop me looking though does it

I have the same problem, DDD, that's why I'm looking to replace the Bowery's frame...

It's a Giant Medium, and too big for me. All my bikes up to the point I got measured up by Epic were too big.

What do you plan on doing with the Bowery Frame?

I really want a new SS frame but it's a sod to find anything nice that is:

    1: Available in the UK
2: Drilled for front and rear brakes

    Grrrrrrr.

I'm planning on getting something like a cotic roadrat to use as a winter / workhorse bike (wide tyres, rack+panniers and disk brakes), and a medium spec road bike for longer distance stuff (not even close to deciding which one, but the Focus ones look to be good value)

That plus the Soma takes me to 3 and should do for most of my needs.

Hmm. Three bikes and you might just find that your G puts you in the shed or the garage to keep them company.

I'm in a happy place for now: I don't hanker after any more bikes.

    Cars, otoh...
Swim. Bike. Run. Yeah. That's what I used to do.

hmm, I have vague plans for another new bike (already had 2 new bikes this year...).

Bonus of living by yourself is having noone to account to for the ludicrous number of bikes you have in the house :)
