Thought I'd seen it all

Been commuting for about 18 years, thought I'd seen and experienced most things.
However, this morning, on the southern approach to London Bridge where all the roadworks are at the moment. The lights turned green and a few cars pulled away, but a white, luton type van didn't move. Waited a few seconds, then a pedestrian walked around the van and said "He's asleep". I scooted around the back and up to the drivers door, there he was head rested on his arm that was hanging out of the window, fast asleep!. I thought maybe he was unwell (very hot this morning). I tapped his arm, gingerly and asked if he was alright. He woke up immediately, put the van in gear and drove off. I exchanged a worried, concerned look with the driver of the vehicle behind (who let me back in) and carried on with my journey.
Makes you wonder, doesn't it?

that remind me of what happened to my gf when she was visiting her brother in singapore. my gf, her nephew and her sister-law was in a taxi on the way home and my gf was singing to the her nephew to keep him entertained. a while later, they found the taxi driver fall asleep while still driving!!

turn out he got some sort of illness which make him very easy to fall asleep and my gf singing wasn't helping neither.

Sawsomething similar a few years back. Right outside a local copshop too. About to cross the road on foot after going to the shops but see the light go green so wait. Only the car waiting at the lights doesnt move. I looked over and saw a young woman fast a sleep leaning back in her chair.

I crossed, turned around and clapped my hands shouting "WAKE UP!!"
