    My guess?

Highroad will have a new sponsor for the tdf.

Why is it good for the sport - they might have a new jersey design to go with it.

I am hearing something else, some very dark mutterings about something which might hurt us quite badly... unsure if it's related to what Henderson is on about though

... don't like the sound of this.

Not only have I now been on twitter for the first time, but are we about to see another bizarre pre-tour week?

  • Given Phil's dark mutterings, is the new kit going to be worse than the old one?

Nah, that would be impossible and break the laws of physics.

And the next question after that is

Since he's German, could this mean another ARD/ZDF Tour boycott?

Apparently the French organisation ,"Agence Francaise des Loose* Dogs" (AFLD) has had Burghardt banned to prevent him mowing down any more roaming Labradors.

Awww! Why is that company name not HCT? The jokes would've been endless.

I'm not sure I can bear the suspense- how bad will the new kit be?

Looks like the HIGHROAD name will be replaced by the HTC name. Doubt the jersey design will change much - just a name change. And as the HTC logo is basically black, there will be that much LESS yellow on the jersey now!

I'm so excited. I bet the Columbia boys just won't be able to sleep.

Damn PR nonsense, building up internet rumours. Still, it's nice to see a big corporate name entering the sport, makes a change from Belgian laminate flooring and small Danish currency brokerages.

So that's five different kits in a year and a half - who do they think they are, Manchester United?

Well, obviously. But he's a big strong lad and quite handy to put into the wind.

There is too much choice on that team.
