SA grinding noise

...which sounds like it is coming from behind the rear cog side of the sturmey 3 speed hub.
Sounds like grit and when I turn the pedal anti clockwise it catches and turnes the wheel backwards. I cleaned and oiled everything I could reach, but nothing changed.
Any ideas?
