Hi
I have had my new bike about a month now and try to get out 3 times a week the circuits i do are anywhere between 8 & 15 miles at a time, the question is
I sometimes work a night shift and dont sleep to well, I still do my 3 times a week but sometimes my legs just aint got anything in them so i tend not to push as hard as other times, Am i doing the right thing by still going out or should i cut it down when on nights ?
Dont get me wrong i still want to go out but it really is a big effort come the end of the week.
Cheers

It is best to rest if tired. Next time you'll feel much fresher.0

If you back off a little you'll probably enjoy the rides you do go on that bit more.0

Hi
Thanks for the replies, after typing my topic up i thought "sod it out i go", did 10 mile after my first 3 i felt great so gave it some beans, well my beans HA,
So in future if i am knackered get out and give it a go it works wonders

Just be careful though! I did that when had a bit of a cold once - just tried to burn it off. Got so ill I had to repeat my last year at university.
If overly tired, do a bit less, and rest and eat well.0 -
Just a thought, if you're working a night shift, go out for a short blast when you get back before sleeping. I sleep much better for it. But don't be tempted to go for too long.0
