I was in Halfords yesterday and liked the look of their Boardman bib and non-bib shorts (£40 & £50). They seem well made but have no idea if they're any good - especially the chamois.

Anybody got them and offer an opinion?

At the minute they have a buy 1 get one 1/2 price offer - so the price looks better.

I have had a pair of the shorts for over a year now and they are pretty good, no complaints, however, for longer rides prefer a pair of bibs (Endura FS280 Pros).

Good price if you are looking for two pairs.

    Cheers.

I've just invested in a pair of Santini twistgel bibs from gbcycles for £60, after recommendations on here, and am very happy with them, feel very good quality, and very comfy on a long ride.
