Have I broke my seatpost?

I had a clipless moment last week, which knocked my saddle loose (I.e. It was now able to move side to side.) I tightened it again when I got home, as tight as I could get it with an allen key.
Next time I went out, towards the end of my ride, it slipped again. No where near as much as when I fell off, but still noticable. Again, I tightened it when I got home.
Then when I went out yesterday, it did it again. Is it possible that I've cracked the thread the screw goes into (either when I fell off or by overtightening)?
Oh, I should mention it's a carbon seatpost.
Thanks

Have you checked that it hasn't come off the rails?0

You should check under the clamp for cracks, on Sunday I was just riding along and I heard a loud crack so I stopped to check and my saddle was loose and I couldn`t tighten it. When I got home I saw a crack in the carbon all the way around under the clamp so I sent it to Specialized UK and they sent me a new one today. Don`t ride it if it is cracked.Smarter than the average bear.0

That'sa why torque wrenches are recommended for tighteneing carbon components. Though monocoque carbon should be stronger and have fewer weak points than carbon shafts which have been bonded.0

Nothing to do with torque in my case, they said if it was overtightened then they wouldn`t replace it but it was broken at the top which they said is rare and they replaced it without argument. I use carbogrip spray to stop slippage but they should really include it {or similar} with carbon bikes and posts.Smarter than the average bear.0
