Won't drivers be distracted by the green line on their bonnet as they pass a cyclist with one of those things?

    Interesting idea.

Won't you get loads of night clubbers running after you?

Because as everyone knows drivers always stick to the lines on the road.

What would be better is one that can project messages onto the road

That product is in line with a stimulating and vibrant culture that I wholly support and love dearly....y'know, ghey.

    Why bother!

After a second look, I think 3m tape on the torso/bag reflecting back car headlights is probably more visible.

    Still - an interesting idea.

Interesting bit of lateral thinking - don't think I'll ditch the Foska Pirate just yet

    at 2mins 11 seconds...does he jump a red light?

This is a nice idea as it is unusual. However as I ride so very fast, the lights would be all on their own at least a street and a half behind me and that would just confuse drivers*

All that would happen is that a delivery driver would park on top of you.

    Seriously?

No. I do not think it works. In fact I think it makes it more dangerous. I'll try and explain why... if you look at a castle wall you'll notice the arrow slits have offset horizontal slots - this was designed to confuse the attackers with a mixed message about where the gap was.

All this light does is distract the eye towards the road, and back to the cyclist, back to the road, etc etc. Every second you are being forced to look at the road is time away from the area you need to look at.

In my opinion you need to focus on the cyclist and lighting up the bike, fitting reflectives, and bright clothing makes far more sense.

If those lasers had settings for 'stun' and 'slice' I would consider it.
