has any one here rode Ingleborough i have been told it is possible and legal from ingleton end
i have walked all three in 11 hours and my wife is doing it again on 5 july i was thinking i might meet her at top on my bike :lol:
if i had my time again would i take the time to make the right choices

    Yes, there is a bridleway all the way from Ingleton to the summit.

    11 hours? Pfft, 8 hours 50 mins here.
  • i was 14 1/2 stone over weight un fit when i did it took me 2 days to get over it that was 7 months ago now 13 stone lot fitter since startin to ride out 3/4 times a week only thing is i think i am adiccted

    Well done. I was 18 and a half stone - 19 stone, started at 4am and had been in the pub until 1am, the bit down from Ingleborough to Horton was the very very worst.

    It is doable and it is legal.

    But you need to ask yourself if it's worth the effort. And my answer would be, no it isn't.

    Too much effort, too little reward. Don't bother.
