tektro callipers brake block compatability?

want to change the brake blocks/shoes on the tektro brakes that came with my defy 3.
Are the blocks compatable with any of the major manufacturers?
Or would i have to buy new "all in one" ones?

    My Tektro's take standard Shimano compatible ones.

    That's what I got for the Tektro's fitted on my Planet-X (520's I believe, but I reckon they are all the same).
