second ride on bike 2 and starting to get used to extra weight and slower wheels but in terms of like for like comparison of top end carbon frame vs bargain ali frame I have to say I'm thinking more and more that this Brant Richards fella seriously knows his stuff. The Scandal might not have the energy saving properties as the S Works and just starting to feel the slight lack in straight line transfer to power (this could be the wheels as well) but for handling and manouverability in single track and confidence underneath the rider for 250 quid you cannot go wrong and I have to say I am loving this bike at the moment. Riding tonight with people on qucker bikes and one rider that is quicker and has better skills so always on the limit with him, this will be a good test to see how it holds up.
